Day 2 of Comicon and here is another anniversary illustration to commemorate the 20 years of Bone created by the awesome Jeff Smith. I had a great time working on this piece, each character has his own singular and colorfull personality, even those crazy mosnter rats in the background, hehehe.

Stay tunned guys, you are going to love the next two anniversary pieces, they are to die for ;D.

This is a wonderful tribute piece for BONE! I love the Rat Creatures in the background and how you used the "20" by the Red Dragon's eyes. Not to mention each character is perfect themselves -- you even made sure Fone Bone had his beloved copy of Moby Dick with him. This is great! Well done! :D

Hey thanks a lot for your comment, specially for paying so much attention to detail! i didnt think someone would really notice about the book since its so little of it showing up. And i´m also glad you noticed about the dragon and the 20 that almost dindt make it on the piece since there was almost no space left to put them.

Te cuento que la etapa inicial siempre suelo hacerla en lapices primero, así sean solo rayones para darme una idea muy general de como quiero que quede el arte final. Y luego paso todo a digital mejorando las lineas y componiendo todos los elementos de la ilustración de la mejor forma posible.

Bone its a fantasy story by Jeff Smith ( kind of Disney meets Lord of the rings ) with great humour elements and colorfull characters that will drive your attention through the hole story. I really recomend you read it, you´ll love Bone and all his adventures.
