Super Metroid

This illustration has been recently published in an issue of Wii-Magazine ( German edition ).

I´ve always wanted to draw a killer Super Metroid fanart since i was in school ( back when i played the old Gameboy version and read a lot of video game magazines ! thats right kids i´m and old guy now, hehehe ) but i never came up with anything cool untyl now that i have the tools to make a futuristic and full of energy vibe rendition of Samus, bizarre Mother brain and the metroids.

Although i never drew something really noteworthy of the saga, i do remember drawing some crazy amateurish stories with Samus turning into morphing ball and killing a lot of those alienish crab metroids, pages and pages of just that, ha! those were good times.
